The MDTS is a highly successful training programme that is well-established at the University of Nottingham. And we are proud to say that our MDTS 2018 was also met with great interest and turned out to be highly appreciated by the considerable number of delegates attending. This training programme is tailor-made for young pathologists in training, and is also designed to meet the ever-increasing demand for molecular diagnostics on an academic level.

Topics include: Methods of molecular diagnostics: From basics to NGS; Basics of bioinformation; In vitro diagnostics; IV DVO accreditation; Somatic vs germline mutation - legal & ethical issues.

The IATS is suitable for trainee and consultant pathologists with little or no experience in image analysis, and for non-clinical scientists/computer experts wishing to learn more about the techniques and application of image analysis.

Topics include: Image analysis in digital pathology; Basics of digital imaging; Scientific and diagnostic applications; Digital workflow.

The Registration Form for MDTS and IATS can be downloaded here.

We look forward to welcoming you to our Molecular Diagnostics Training School and Image Analysis Training School 2019!

Cordially,
